When does bpost deliver my parcel to the addressee?

We deliver your parcel to the addressee the next workday in Belgium if you: hand in the parcel during the opening hours of your Post Office, Post Point, Parcel Point or Parcel Box drop the parcel in a Parcel Locker before the last collection
You can only hand in your registered mail with customised insurance at a Post Office. You can also go to a Post Office to make your shipment ready for mailing. That way you are sure that the strict rules related to this type of mail are applied.

At the moment, you cannot prepare registered mail for delivery to a foreign address online or using the My bpost app. If you need to send registered mail to a foreign address you can go to a Post Office or Post Point.
What if the addressee does not pick up my registered mail with confirmation of receipt?

If the addressee is not home, a failed delivery notice is left behind by the postman. The addressee has 15 calendar days to pick up your registered mail with confirmation of receipt (in the Post Office or Post Point mentioned on the failed delivery notice). If the addressee does not pick up your mail within 15 calendar days, it will be sent back to you. Make sure that your name and address are clearly written on your shipment.
