How does bpost alert me in case of errors or delays?
FAQ
Residential
If an address error is picked-up upon sorting your letters and cards, your funeral service provider is automatically updated and can warn you through the appropriate channel. If you haven’t received the red mourning bag from your provider but brought your letters to bpost yourself, we’ll send you an e-mail on the provided e-mail address.

Where do I find the return label for my return shipment?
FAQ
Residential
If the original sender offers you the possibility to return your parcel, then there are three possibilities: The return label is in the parcel. You download the return label from the sender's online shop and print it at home. Some senders allow you to have the return label printed in the Post Office or Post Point where you send the parcel back. If the original sender does not offer any return options, then you must create and purchase a shipping label.

How do I write the address correctly on the envelope?
FAQ
Residential
Just like with electronic addresses, one letter can affect the proper delivery. Validate your address to be sure that it is known at bpost. The photo below shows how to write the address of the addressee correctly. Don't forget to mention the name of the addressee (required) and to put your own address on the back of your letter (recommended but not required). Adres brief EN Positioning zone of recipient address box Recipient address box Franking and cancellation zone Free zone for the sender Return address zone Index zone Semi-free zone for the sender (no address)
Mail Ahead shows you all your mail that is processed with our sorting machines at night. The route that your mail travels from the sorting and distribution centres to your letterbox can take a bit longer sometimes. In that case, you will receive the mail that you can already see in the app on the next postal delivery. If you don’t see your mail in your letterbox by the end of the day, you can “Report an issue” on this mail item preview in the app. We’ll investigate and work on preventing this in the future.
