How much time do I have to pick up my money?

You have 40 days to pick up your money in a Post Office or Ria agency. After 40 days the sender receives a new PIN code that he or she uses to pick up the money.
If you are not home, the postman will leave a failed delivery notice. This document clearly indicates where you can pick up your registered mail and the dates and times when. Someone else can take receipt of your registered mail at your home or pick it up at the Post office or Post Point. You do have to give that person a mandate. This is how you do that:

You will receive a QR code, which you can pass on to the person of your choosing. This person simply shows this QR code during delivery. If you set up a classical mandate, they will also have to present their ID card.

If the sender lost the PIN code, he or she can request it again: in the Post Office or Ria agency where the money was sent through Ria Money Transfer customer service. The addressee must ask the sender to send the code again.
Can I purchase one shipping label in the eShop?

No, You can no longer buy pre-franked shipping labels in our eShop. In order to improve the quality of our products, we will no longer be selling pre-franked labels in our eShop, Post Offices, Postal Points or Parcel Points as from 15/04/2025. Of course, you can still use the prepaid labels you have already purchased from us. They will remain valid until 31/12/2026. Every country places a limit on money transfers. The amount of money that you can send depends on the limit. The counter clerk in your Post Office will give you more information about the limits in the country where you want to send money.
The sorting centres, roads (logistics), the bpost network (including post offices, post points, pick-up points and parcel lockers) and delivery services are very busy during the end-of-year period between Black Friday and Christmas Day. In order to offset the extra costs incurred during this period, all customers that ship parcels during the end-of-year peak (between Black Friday and Christmas Day) will be billed a surcharge of €1 (excl. VAT) per parcel.

You can prepare most types of registered mail using the My bpost app or online shipping tool. Please note that the delivery address must be in Belgium. This includes: Normalised registered mail (standard format) Non-normalised registered mail (non-standard format) Registered mail with proof of receipt For all other types of registered mail (with a foreign delivery address or personalised insurance, say) you should go to a Post Office or Post Point.
