There are costs associated with the delivery of my parcel, how can I pay them?

If you receive a parcel at home with 'payment on delivery', you can pay for it in various ways:

Cash

You can pay cash to the postman, but then you must give the exact amount.

Mobile

You can also pay by mobile phone using your banking app or the Payconiq by Bancontact app. The postman will then create a QR code which you scan with your banking app. You will both receive a confirmation of the payment.

The postman will deliver your parcel with payment at a Post Office or at a Post Point when:

  • You are not at home.
  • you cannot pay the exact amount in cash or via your mobile phone
  • you would like to pay with a debit or credit card.
  • the amount involved is more than EUR 1,000.
