You can link an additional email address to the My bpost app as follows: Open the My bpost app and select the 'More' menu at the bottom of the screen. Select 'My email addresses' and then 'Add email address'. Enter the email address you wish to add. Enter the verification code that was sent to this email address. Parcels and shipments ordered with this email address will automatically be added to the My bpost app from now on.

If registered mail is lost, stolen or damaged, the sender will receive compensation from bpost. The compensation will be in line with the actual amount of direct damage, with a maximum amount of €39. You can insure your mail up to a maximum of €7500 using registered mail with customised insurance. You can apply for this reimbursement via the online form at the bottom of this page. This way, you can immediately provide all the necessary information and documents to process your file. In case of damage, the complaint must be submitted within 7 calendar days.
You can follow all your parcels with the My bpost app. Also those from other postal services. bpost parcels linked to your email addresses in the My bpost app are added automatically. It is easy to add other parcels in the app: Click on ‘add a shipment’ on the app start screen Enter the parcel's barcode number or scan the barcode with the app. Select the postal service from the list. If your postal service is not in the list, send us a message via the app. We will add it to the current list. Enter the postcode of the delivery address.

You may receive an email or text message that appears to be from bpost. It might look real, but it was not sent by us. These emails or texts are fraudulent messages, also known as phishing, sent by scammers. The following tips will help you recognize phishing and will inform you about what to do with these types of messages.
, Do not believe every text message or e-mail and don't just enter your personal details
, First of all, ask yourself whether you are expecting a parcel. For shipments within the EU, bpost will never ask you to pay when your parcel is in transit (e.g. to avoid extra costs), or to provide personal information by e-mail or text message. Furthermore, bpost will never threaten to send a bailiff if you don't pay for your parcel. Only enter personal details if you are 100% sure that you are dealing with bpost. We will never ask you for personal information via e-mail or text message.

, A fraudulent email or text message usually contains a link or button that goes to an untrustworthy website. You can check the URL by hovering over the link with your mouse. The web address will then appear at the bottom left of your browser. If you do not recognize the address immediately, do not click the link.

Be sure to check the website of the online shop to see what their guidelines are regarding returning parcels. As soon as we have received your return shipment, the online shop will receive a message from us that a return shipment is in transit.
Yes, you can. In the shopping basket, you can select to receive a receipt/invoice. You will receive your invoice via email. If necessary, you can easily change the invoice address during this step. Please note that it is not possible to request an invoice after the shipping label has been created.
Why isn’t all my mail shown in the My bpost app ?

Through Mail Ahead, we aim to give you the fullest possible overview of mail on its way to you. During this test phase, the app shows only mail processed through our sorting machines, with your privacy fully respected. This may mean that some mail arrives in your mailbox without appearing in the app (yet).
When creating your account, your e-mail address may produce an error message. This is because a previously created account using your email address was used to manage your delivery preferences. If this account is no longer active or has not been activated, you will not be able to use this email address (for the time being). In this case, please contact customer service . An employee will help you create your account.
