Is my parcel additionally protected against theft and damage if I send it in a bpost box?

Your parcel does not receive extra protection if you send it in a bpost box. If you want extra protection, choose the ‘With warranty’ shipping option. In case of loss or damage, you will be reimbursed for the value of the contents of your shipment (up to max. €500). More information about the calculation of this compensation.

You can select this mailing option when creating a shipping label via the online shipping tool. Or go to a Post Office or Post Point near you and ask the counter clerk to send your parcel with warranty.

You can also choose the ‘With warranty’ option for parcels sent abroad.
