How do I create a shipping label?

Follow the steps below to easily create your own shipping label: Go to the online shipping tool or the My bpost app and choose between a national or international shipment. Choose a delivery method: an address, Parcel Locker or Pick-up point. Enter the weight and if desired choose extra options. Enter your details then those of the addressee. Pay and print your shipping label. Or choose the 'Print my shipping label' option and have it printed in a Post Office or Post Point.
Can I buy a pre-stamped box?

You can buy pre-stamped packages in the eShop, in Post Offices and Post Points. This already has a shipping label that you can fill in yourself for shipments within Belgium. You can purchase the following pre-stamped packages from bpost: Minipack small up to 1 kg (max: 19.5 cm x 27.5 cm x 4 cm) Minipack medium up to 1 kg (max: 21 cm x 34 cm x 4 cm) The Fashion Bag : handy for shipping clothing and textiles. Can I edit the location or time of a delivery?

Once you have attached the shipping label to your parcel and placed it in one of bpost's Post Points, you can no longer edit the shipping details. Your addressee can edit his/her delivery preferences online or via the My bpost app (for all parcels or per parcel).
No, that is not possible at the moment. You can pay for your parcel as follows: with exact change with the Payconiq by Bancontact app or your banking app that offers the Payconiq by Bancontact functionality with your debit or credit card (only possible in a Post Office, Post Point or Parcel Point) Parcels from outside the European Union with import costs can be paid in advance via the My bpost app as from 7 June 2021. You will receive a notification for these parcels in your app.
At the moment, proofs of deposit cannot be sent by email. You can receive this proof in the My bpost app or in the shipping tool if you create a shipping label there. The proof of deposit will appear in the app or in your account when your registered mail item enters our network. This is deemed a legally valid document in the event of a dispute. You will receive a stamped proof of deposit from the person at the counter if you prepare and drop off your registered mail at a Post Office or Post Point. This is also deemed a legally valid document in the event of a dispute.

You’ll get an email or a notification in the My bpost app stating the delivery date and location as soon as your registered mail is on its way. You still have time to change the time or place of delivery in the app. Your options: You can postpone delivery until the next working day. You can have the registered mail delivered straight to a Post Office or Post Point. Please note that you won’t be able to change this choice afterward. If you are not at home you can have someone else take receipt of your registered mail based on a proxy .

If you are not at home, the postman will deliver the registered mail in accordance with the delivery preferences you have set in the My bpost app. If you have not set any delivery preferences, the postman will leave a failed delivery notice. This notification clearly states: Where you can pick up your mail the dates and times when you can pick up your mail Delivery preferences for registered mail You can set your preferences for how your registered mail is to be delivered in the My bpost app. These are the options: Delivered to your letterbox: we won’t ring your bell, we’ll simply put the mail straight through your letterbox. Proxy: in the app you authorise someone else to take receipt of your registered mail. More details about proxies . Postpone delivery to your home by one working day. Immediate delivery at a Post Office or Post Point. These last two options only become available once a registered mail has been announced. In that case, you’ll get an email or an app notification stating the delivery date and location.
