If your parcel was not delivered, check the status of your shipment via Track & Trace or the My bpost app first. If the status of your your parcel remains unchanged for several workdays (at least 5 workdays for shipments to a neighbouring country, at least 10 workdays for the United Kingdom and all other countries), then you can ask the sender to contact our customer service. Only the sender of your parcel can submit a complaint. If you are the sender, please contact our customer service. It is best to do this via the online form at the bottom of this page. This way, you can immediately provide us with all the necessary information to start an investigation quickly.

Wait a bit longer. If the status of your parcel has not changed for more than 5 workdays, we advise you to contact the sender. The sender will look for a solution together with bpost. If you entered a return address, the card will be sent back to you. Where can I file a complaint if there is something wrong with my postcard?
You are responsible for the quality of the photos, the layout of your postcard, and the correct address: For your photo or video postcard, choose photos of at least 1831 x 1276 pixels. Check the print preview of your postcard carefully. [ Follow the app's suggestions if an error message appears on the address. For complaints about the quality of your postcard or non-delivery, contact the Customer Care Centre. They will investigate what went wrong. If there was an error in the printing process, the Customer Care Centre will ask you to send a photo of the postcard via e-mail. You can choose the mailing date of your postcard. For example, you can plan all the birthday cards for the entire year. You cannot choose the delivery date. We deliver your postcard within 3 workdays in Belgium. For addresses outside Belgium, we treat your postcard like priority mail – we print your card the same day. For the delivery, we depend on foreign postal services.
Are the postcards created with Mobile Postcard sent as priority or non-priority mail?
Your postcard is non-priority mail for Belgian destinations. If you send your postcard before 15:00, we will deliver your home-made postcard within 3 workdays. If you make a postcard and send it abroad, bpost will print and send that card the same day. The delivery date of your postcard depends on the postal service in that country.
How do I download the Mobile Postcard app?

What is a video postcard?
The bpost video postcard is a unique, real postcard with a video message. The postcard includes a self-selected photo (or multiple photos) and a QR code that links to your selected video. Your addressee receives the card in the letterbox, and can view the video by scanning the QR code with their smartphone via: the Mobile Postcard app on their smartphone or tablet an app with a code scanner the camera on a recent smartphone The video can be up to one minute long and remains available for one year. I entered an incorrect address. Will I lose a credit?
If you sent the postcard(s) then you did indeed lose a credit or credits. The app checks whether bpost is familiar with that address that you enter – this only works for Belgian addresses. If the app suspects an error in the address, the app gives a message and a suggestion. Always follow the app's suggestion.
Can my Mobile Postcard by blocked by bpost?
If your postcard or video card contains shocking, unethical or illegal images or messages, bpost can block your card and pass your file to the courts or the government.
What should I do if the Mobile Postcard app freezes or is slow?
Download the latest version: we update the app regularly. Make sure that you are using the latest version. Check if there is an update in the App Store or Google Play. Restart the app: if a new version is not available, close the app completely, then reopen it. Reinstall the app: if the app still has problems, delete the app from your smartphone or tablet, then reinstall it once again. Will I get a clear preview of my postcard so I can check the photo quality?
You always get a print preview of your postcard. If the photo quality is inadequate, or you want to add or delete decorations, continue editing your postcard until you are satisfied. We will print your photo card or video card the same day and deliver it.
I paid but I don't see my credits in the app. What do I do now?
When you buy credits for postcards, they will appear in your app immediately. If you don't see them immediately, close the Mobile Postcard app, then reopen it. If you still don't see your new credits, log out then log back in. Check if the payment was successful. And check if you are logged in with the e-mail address that you used to buy the credits. If you check everything and still don't see the credits in the app, contact the Customer Care Centre.
Are changes saved when I close the app?
If you are logged in, the design of your postcard is saved when you close the app. You can work on it later. Go to Follow-up > On Hold. The design is saved in the memory of your smartphone or your tablet. That means you cannot access it from a different device.
Are there separate prices for entrepreneurs?
Entrepreneurs who want to allow their clients to send postcards should use Mobile Postcard Pro. You're able to give your clients a free card to send with the app using a promotional code. Perfect if, for example, you have a stand at a fair and want to allow visitors to send a card to someone.
Will my money be refunded if the quality of my postcard is not good?

Your video message remains viewable with the QR code on your postcard for one year. A video postcard is fun to get and to send.
I lost credits due to an error in the app. What should I do?
Check whether you are logged in under Menu > My account. If it says 'Log in' then you are not logged in. You will not be able to see your credits. Your credits are linked to your email address. Check you're logged in with the correct email address.
How much text can I put on a Mobile Postcard?
You can put 15 lines of text on the back of your photo card or video card. The app indicates if your text is too long.
Does the addressee need a QR scanner to watch the video?
The recipient of your video postcard does not need a QR scanner. They can also access the video with the Mobile Postcard app or the camera of a recent smartphone.
How many Mobile Postcards can I send in one go?
You can send about 30 postcards at the same time with the Mobile Postcard app. The number fluctuates depending on your internet connection and the file size of your photos (and video if you added one).
Can I send and pay for different postcards in one go?
You can send several postcards in one go. Create your postcards first, add personalised messages and the addresses, then click on 'Close'. The design of those cards will be saved. When you are done, go to 'Follow-up' and tap on the 'Send Multiple Cards' button.

How does bpost print my video on a postcard?
We don't print the video on the postcard. Instead, video postcards feature a QR code. The recipient of your postcard scans the QR code on the front with the Mobile Postcard app, an external QR app, or the camera on a recent smartphone. They can then watch and hear your video. The film of your video postcard can last for as long as one minute. It remains available for one year.
Does the Mobile Postcard app check the quality of my photos?
No, the app doesn't give a warning. However, you can check what your postcard will look like using the print preview. If you took the photo with a smartphone that is less than four years old, the quality should be fine. If your smartphone is older, make sure that the photos are at least 1831 x 1276 pixels. Tip for better photo quality: when you zoom in, the image is not as sharp. It's better to come a step closer than to zoom in.
How large can the video file be?
It doesn't matter how large your video file is, but how long your video is. If your video lasts longer than one minute, it will be cut. You can shorten the video yourself in the app.
I bought credits to make postcards, but my smartphone was stolen. What do I do now?
Download the Mobile Postcard app on your tablet or new smartphone and change your password under Menu > Log in > Forgot your password. Your credits are linked to your Mobile Postcard account. You can access your credits with your tablet or smartphone.
Do I have to buy credits if I want to make a card with a photo using Mobile Postcard?

Does bpost get rights to my photo(s) if I send a Mobile Postcard?
bpost never gets the property rights of your photos. We only use the photos to print your postcard.

Can I continue working on my postcard on another device?

How long can my video be?
Videos that you send with Mobile Postcard last a maximum of one minute. If you upload a longer video to the Mobile Postcard app, it will automatically be cut at the one-minute mark. You can shorten the video yourself in the app.
Can I choose the photo on my video postcard?

You know when your postcard has been sent when you receive a confirmation email. In the app, under 'Follow-up' it will also say 'Sent'. It should arrive the next workday for 'Priority' mail to a Belgian destination, and within three days for 'Non-priority' mail to a Belgian destination. Of course, you can ask the addressee whether your card has arrived.
Can I make changes if the photo quality is not good?
In the app, you can use a photo filter for photos that are beautiful but of lesser quality. Sepia, black-and-white and warm tints are nice filters. The blur will be less noticeable on your postcard or video card. Simply add the photo then click on it. If possible, use smartphone photos that are at least 1831 x 1276 pixels. If your smartphone is less than four years old, any photos you take with it should be of good enough quality. Tip: don't zoom too much when taking a photo. A zoomed image is not as sharp.
bpost's Mobile Postcard app works with credits. How does that work?
If you want to make an original postcard with the Mobile Postcard app – of your holiday, for a wedding or birthday – you can pay postcard per postcard or buy several credits in advance. You can send one postcard to a Belgian address with 1 credit. A postcard to an address outside Belgium costs 1.5 credits. To buy credits, log in or create an account. The advantages of credits: You save time because you don't have to pay postcard per postcard. You save money because you get a discount when you buy credits.
How long will my personalised postcard be saved?
Unsent postcards remain in the app as a design until you delete or send them. A postcard you've sent also remains in your overview. If you want to send the same card again, you can do so for up to two weeks after you first sent it. That way you don't have to recreate a nice design.
Will I be informed automatically about app updates?
You will not be notified about updates. Allow your apps to update automatically or update them manually. Your iPhone or iPad automatically updates the Mobile Postcard app for iOS 13 or higher. But you will not get a message about this. If you have an older operating system, update the app manually. In the app, go to Menu > Version. This will bring you to the App Store. Click on ‘Update’ to download and install the update. If you have an Android smartphone or tablet, you will not receive messages about updates. You can adjust the settings on your device so that apps update automatically. You do this under the Google Play settings.
How long is the Mobile Postcard promotional code valid?
The period of validity of your promotional code for a free postcard depends on the code. If your code is no longer valid, you will get a message that your promotional code has expired.
How do I get discounts for Mobile Postcard?
Promotions are announced from time to time via email or push message. Be sure to accept push notifications. You do this in the settings of your smartphone or tablet. Indicate that you “allow messages”. Emails with discounts or useful tips are sent to the email address that you registered with. Make sure that your email preferences are correct under Menu > My account.
