It's not possible to phone a postman or to follow his entire route online. If you set your delivery preferences, your parcel will be delivered according to your preference if you are not home. If you haven't set this yet, the postman will deliver your parcel to a Pick-up point in your neighbourhood. As soon as your parcel is available in a Pick-up point (the next workday), the status of your shipment is adjusted on Track & Trace and in the My bpost app. Be sure to check the status of your parcel before going to the Pick-up point.
How do I send a parcel with signature upon receipt?

If you want a signature upon receipt of your parcel, you should choose the shipping option ‘with guarantee’. That means the recipient must sign for receipt and you have a guarantee up to €500 if your parcel is lost or damaged. To send your parcel with a guarantee, click on the ‘Guarantee (up to €500)’ option on the online shipping tool. Or ask about it in the Post Office or Post Point. You will have to pay extra for this option. For parcels sent abroad, a basic guarantee of up to €500 (or €15 for documents) is included. As a private sender, you cannot take out a higher guarantee.
Always check the details of your money transfer carefully before signing the form and agreeing to the transfer. The counter clerk uses those details to send your money. If an error was made, you must go back to the Post Office or Ria agency where the money was sent and modify the transaction.
You can affix a proof of receipt when you want formal written proof that the addressee has taken receipt of your mail item. How do I receive registered mail?

Registered mail will only be handed over to you upon presentation of your ID card, and you will have to sign for it. This is required by law, as the document in the mail has legal value. We therefore have to check that you are the rightful addressee. Delivery preferences for registered mail You can set your preferences for how your registered mail item is delivered in the My bpost app. These are the options: Delivered to your letterbox: we won’t ring your bell, we’ll simply put the mail straight through your letterbox. Proxy: in the app you authorise someone else to take receipt of your registered mail. More details about proxies . Postpone delivery to your home by one working day. Immediate delivery at a Post Office or Post Point. The last two options are only available for registered mail for which you have received advanced notification. In that case, you’ll get an email or an app notification stating the delivery date and location.

Check for typing errors in your password and email address. Try different combinations. Perhaps you made a new account with a different email address in the past. Maybe you used the email address of your partner, parents or children. What if there are no typing errors and you have the correct email address? Request a new password in the app under Menu > Log in > Forgot your password. You will receive an email with a link to set a new password. You still can't log in? Call customer service.
