When will my parcel be delivered?
We try to deliver all national parcels the next workday. You can follow the status of your parcel with Track & Trace and the My bpost app. The stated time slot is an indication; 95% of the parcels are delivered within this time slot.

I am expecting a parcel, but have not received a barcode. What do I do now?
In that case, contact the sender of your parcel and ask for the barcode. Without a barcode, we cannot follow your parcel with Track & Trace.

How do I know who is the sender of my parcel?
  Based on your parcel's barcode number, you can check the name and address of the sender with Track & Trace and the My bpost app.

How do I send domestic registered mail?

Complete the following steps to send Domestic registered mail.

Go to the nearest Post Office or Post Point

You can send registered mail in every Post Office or Post Point.

Choose the type of registered mail

Standard, with confirmation of receipt for absolute certainty, or with customised insurance for valuable mail.

Prepare your registered mail

An employee will help you with this. Be sure to keep the stamped mailing receipt afterwards.

Follow your registered mail

You can follow it on Track & Trace using the barcode on your mailing receipt.

Will I receive proof that my registered mail was sent in the Post Office or Post Point?

Your mailing receipt will be validated with a postmark in the Post Point or Post Office. The barcode on the mailing receipt will be attached to your shipment. The rest of the mailing receipt will be given to you; it counts as legal proof that your item was sent.

Where do I hand in registered mail?

There are three ways to hand in registered rail:

  • in a Post Office
  • in a Post Point
  • give it to the postman (costs €1 extra)
