Yes! You create more visibility for your company when you give your clients the opportunity to send one or more Mobile Postcards as a gift. With a promotional code, they can do exactly this. You can even make sure your logo and/or name appears on them if you wish. Give your contacts the option of sending free postcards, for example via your magazine, brochure or menu, in an email, or at a stand with a photo booth at a fair or festival.
Your Mobile Postcard account is kept valid with regular use. Your account will be deactivated if you have not used it to send a postcard or buy credits for three years.
If you want to send a postcard or buy credits, you need an account with a password. It's very easy to set this up in the app. The benefits of an account: You can buy multiple credits and receive a discount. You can save the design of your postcards. You can access your credits on both your smartphone and your tablet. Your addresses are saved. There's no need type them in again and again. You have an overview of all the cards you've sent.
When you buy credits for postcards, they should appear in your app immediately. If you don't see them, close the Mobile Postcard app, then reopen it. If you still don't see your new credits, log out then log back in. Check whether the payment was successful. And check that you are logged in with the same email address as you used to buy the credits. If you check everything and still don't see the credits in the app, contact customer service.
By buying your credits in advance, you save yourself valuable time and money: You don't need to pay for your postcards one by one. The price of a postcard is cheaper if you buy multiple credits at one time. Your credits are linked to your accounts and always remain valid, even if the rates happen to change.
You can personalise a postcard for lots of people by resending the card. Send the card to one person. Then, in the app, go to 'Follow-up', tap on the sent card and choose 'Resend'. You can still edit the card to add, for example, a different salutation.
If you are logged in, the design of your postcard is saved when you close the app. You can work on it later. Go to Follow-up > On hold. The design is saved in the memory of your smartphone or your tablet. That means you cannot access it from a different device.
Luckily, your credits are linked to your account. You can simply install the Mobile Postcard app on your new smartphone and log in with your chosen email address and password. You'll find your available credits under the 'Credits' menu at the bottom of the app screen. Your designs, sent cards and addresses are saved on your smartphone. You'll unfortunately not be able to find these on your new device.
In the app, you can use a photo filter for photos that are beautiful but of lesser quality. Sepia, black-and-white and warm tints are nice filters. The blur will be less noticeable on your postcard or video card. Simply add the photo then click on it. If possible, use smartphone photos that are at least 1831 x 1276 pixels. If your smartphone is less than four years old, any photos you take with it should be of good enough quality. Tip: don't zoom too much when taking a photo. A zoomed image is not as sharp.
The Mobile Postcard app exists in Dutch, French and English. The app adjusts to the language your device is set to use. You can change this in the 'Settings' of your smartphone or tablet.
