Mail for foreign addresses. In this case, affix a blue A Prior sticker as well. The old stamps cannot be used for prior mail in Belgium (this requires a prior stamp with barcode). Parcels or registered mail cannot be franked with the old stamps either.

bpost returns your parcel to the sender if: The sender entered your home address incorrectly. Your parcel was not accepted at the door (e.g. because it is damaged) You did not pick up your parcel at the Pick-up point within 14 calendar days You did not pick up your parcel at the Parcel Locker within 5 calendar days Contact the sender to take further actions (e.g. to ship your parcel again or if you want a refund). You can also pick up your registered mail by showing the barcode or mailing number. Don't forget to bring your ID card. Let us know if your postman didn't leave a failed delivery notice so that we can improve our services.
A couple of tips if you have not received anything: Check if someone else (your neighbour or flatmate) has received your parcel. If it is a small parcel, the postman may have delivered it to your letterbox without ringing the doorbell. Your parcel may also have been delivered according to your delivery preferences (directly to a Pick-up point, to your safe location or to your neighbour). If it is left in a safe place by your home, you can view the photo of that safe place in the My bpost app or Track & Trace. Also make sure that you have not received a failed delivery notice from the postman in your letterbox. It will tell you where your parcel has gone to. Keep in mind that you only receive this notice if we cannot reach you digitally. , If you are the receiver , and you still cannot find your parcel, please contact the sender for a solution. He is the only one who can start an investigation at bpost and make sure that you still receive your parcel. , If you are the sender , , please contact our customer service. This is best done using our online form . This way you can immediately provide us with all the necessary information and documents to handle your ticket.
It is best to follow the next steps to prepare your parcel for shipment: , Get a suitable box , You should choose a sturdy box that is the right size for the contents The heavier the contents, the sturdier the box needs to be. You can choose to reuse a box or order a suitable box through our eShop . , Fill up the empty space , Use scrunched up newspaper, for instance, to fill up the empty space in your box. Wrap up fragile objects properly, for instance with bubble wrap. , Close the box , Use strong adhesive tape (at least 48 mm wide). Ensure the box is properly closed, including the sides , Affix the shipping label , Create a shipping label online or visit a point of sale to obtain this label. Affix your shipping label on the largest side, ensuring it is completely readable. If you are using an old box, remove any other labels or barcode.   Complete the following steps to send international registered mail.  , Go to the nearest Post Office or Post Point , You can send international registered mail in every Post Office or Post Point. , Choose the type of international registered mail , Standard, with proof of delivery for absolute certainty, or with customised insurance for valuable mail. , Prepare your international registered mail , An employee will help you with this. Be sure to keep the stamped mailing receipt afterwards. , Follow your international registered mail , You can follow it on Track & Trace using the barcode on your mailing receipt.
Who is allowed to accept your shipment depends on the type of shipment. , My shipment is a parcel , Anyone at home at your address can accept your parcel, including household help or your partner, even if it is a parcel requiring a signature upon receipt. If we deliver to your (chosen) neighbour, anyone present at that address can also accept the parcel. , My shipment is registered mail , You can recognise registered mail by the barcode starting with the numbers ‘010’ or the letter ‘R’.  In the case of registered mail, only you (or your proxy ) can accept the shipment upon presentation of an ID card.
There are several reasons why your parcel was not delivered according to your preference. , Your profile is not yet complete. , Your delivery preferences are linked to the email address you entered in your ‘MyPreferences’ account or the My bpost app. Perhaps the parcel was ordered with a different email address than the one entered in MyPreferences. , Tip: , Check your profile in MyPreferences A green “V” appears next to your address if your account is validated (10 days after creation). Make sure your address is correct. Add the names you use to order parcels. Add all email addresses you use to order parcels. , No email address received from sender , It is also possible that the sender did not provide us with your email address. Unless you have not agreed to this, we will link your delivery preference to the name or address on your parcel (as of 10 days after the account was created). They must be identical to your name and the address in your account. , The type of parcel prevented us from delivering according to your delivery preference , Delivery to your safe place and your neighbour is not possible for: Parcels with payment upon delivery (e.g. a number plate). Parcels you can only receive after showing your secure delivery code. Parcels sent as registered mail. We can only deliver these on presentation of your ID card. The postman was unable to deliver your parcel to a neighbour because they were not at home or refused to accept it. Your Pick-up Point or Parcel Locker was temporarily unavailable when we delivered your parcel.
