Business customers with a bpost contract can ship parcels to pick-up points in Belgium, as well as these foreign countries: France: delivery to Points relais® (pick-up points) or Lockers of our partner Mondial Relay Luxembourg: delivery to PackUp Points (pick-up points) and PackUp 24/24 (parcel lockers) of our partner Post LU. The Netherlands: delivery to ServicePoints (pick-up points and parcel lockers) of our partner DHL. For these international deliveries, our partners will ensure that they inform and offer the appropriate tracking options to your receivers.
bpost has the right to open shipments with Belgium as the destination: if they cannot be delivered to the addressee; and if the address of the sender is not on the parcel. If we still cannot deliver the shipment to the addressee's address after opening it, then the parcel can be destroyed as from a certain period after it was sent: after 6 months for registered mail and shipments with a guarantee after 3 months for other shipments After the aforementioned period has expired, valuables and valuable documents included in these shipments become property of the Belgian Treasury. International shipments can also be opened by bpost if the address is not on the shipment.

But after that, your postcard is in the hands of the postal service of the destination country.

All shipments from outside the EU go through an import procedure. This allows Belgian customs to check the contents of shipments on arrival in Belgium. Your parcel does not receive extra protection if you send it in a bpost box. If you want extra protection, choose the ‘With warranty’ shipping option. In case of loss or damage, you will be reimbursed for the value of the contents of your shipment (up to max. €500). More information about the calculation of this compensation . You can select this mailing option when creating a shipping label via the online shipping tool. Or go to a Post Office or Post Point near you and ask the counter clerk to send your parcel with warranty. You can also choose the ‘With warranty’ option for parcels sent abroad.
