You can follow your shipment abroad online via Track & Trace or the My bpost app using the barcode number of your shipment. As soon as your parcel crosses the border, another foreign postal service will take care of the delivery. From the moment your parcel is abroad, we depend on information from our foreign colleagues.
There can be different reasons why your parcel was not delivered to a bbox: The bbox was full or out of order due to a technical breakdown. Your parcel was too heavy or too large. Some parcels cannot be delivered to a bbox; these include Registered Mail (signature required) and parcels that require payment upon delivery. If we cannot deliver your parcel to a bbox, we will deliver it to a different Pick-Up Point close by. You will be informed with Track & Trace and the My bpost app.

What is Mail Ahead?

FAQResidential
Mail Ahead in the My bpost app allows you to see your incoming mail, even before the mail carrier drops it in the letterbox. You will see an image of the outside of your personal mail that you will receive in your letterbox that day. This newly launched feature is in its beta version and not yet available to everyone. Our beta tester community is growing, and you may become part of it soon. Alternatively, you can access it once it’s fully launched.

Import costs on shipments from outside the EU are preferably paid online via the My bpost app or via Track & Trace. If you have no experience with online payments, have someone close to you help you. Your shipment will be released and sent afterwards by the customs clearance service. You will not receive it immediately.
If your code isn’t accepted, you may have mixed it up with another parcel you are expecting. In that case, the other parcel should have been left at a pick-up point close to you. Your parcel will also be dropped off at a pick-up point if there’s a technical issue at the time of delivery. Check your email, Track & Trace and the My bpost app to know where it’s been taken. If you’re sure the code was right, contact our customer service to sort it out.
