What happens to my parcel after the postman takes it?
FAQResidential
Once the postman finishes their round, they bring your parcel to the nearest distribution centre. From there, your parcel is sorted and starts its journey to the recipient. You can follow the status of your parcel with Track & Trace and the My bpost app using your barcode.
Can I edit the location or time of a delivery?
FAQResidential
Once you have attached the shipping label to your parcel and placed it in one of bpost's Post Points, you can no longer edit the shipping details. Your addressee can edit his/her delivery preferences online or via the My bpost app (for all parcels or per parcel).
Can I phone the postman or follow his route online in order to receive my missed parcel?
FAQResidential
It's not possible to phone a postman or to follow his entire route online. If you set your delivery preferences, your parcel will be delivered according to your preference if you are not home. If you haven't set this yet, the postman will deliver your parcel to a Pick-up point in your neighbourhood. As soon as your parcel is available in a Pick-up point (the next workday), the status of your shipment is adjusted on Track & Trace and in the My bpost app. Be sure to check the status of your parcel before going to the Pick-up point.
All cards made in the Mobile Postcard app are printed and sent from Belgium. Cards for a destination in Belgium are sent at domestic rates. For cards that are destined for other countries, you pay international rates. Take a look at all our rates under the menu option 'Cards and envelopes'.

To do so, ask the sender to send you an e-mail confirming: the contents of the shipment the value (in €) of the shipment that your shipment is a gift Afterwards, enter your barcode and postal code via Track & Trace or via the My bpost app . There you will find a link to an online form to dispute your import costs. Upload the sender's email to this form as proof.
