After paying for the shipping label for your registered mail, you receive it in digital form in the app, online shipping tool and by email. You can print it yourself or have it printed free of charge at a Post Office or Post Point. You simply need to show the digital label to the person at the counter and they will do the rest.
You can set up this service free of charge in the My bpost app under ‘delivery preferences’. All you need to do is identify yourself. You can do that using itsme or by scanning your ID card in the app. You can also go along to a post office to request delivery of registered mail straight to your letterbox. You will have to show your ID card for this.

If you have forgotten your email address for your delivery preferences, please create a new account. Privacy laws do not permit us to look up email addresses or share existing accounts. Our customer service will therefore not be able to help you find your email address. If several accounts have been set up at the same address, we always take into account the delivery preferences of the most recent account when delivering parcels.
You can give small electronic devices, such as a broken blender, headphones, razor, tablet, smartphone or laptop. In other words, just about anything that works on batteries or with a plug. Remove the batteries before putting the device in a box for the mail carrier. Please note that your box or parcel must meet the following conditions following conditions . The mail carrier will not accept large electrical appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, washing machines, etc. You can always take these to a recycling centre.
Have you lost the barcode of your parcel or did you not receive one? Then you can do the following: If you bought something from an online shop, you usually receive an email containing the barcode of your parcel. The online shop might also send you a link to the Track & Trace page (with your barcode filled in) of the parcel service that will deliver your parcel. If you didn’t receive a barcode, ask the sender about this.
As soon as the postman picks up your parcel, you will receive a mailing receipt by e-mail. If you did not receive this e-mail, please check your spam folder. If the e-mail is also not in your spam folder, please contact our Customer Care Centre via the online form at the bottom of this page.
When delivering registered mail and parcels, our postmen are required to ring the doorbell and wait a minimal time. Unfortunately, you might find a failed delivery notice in your letterbox even though you were home. You can file a complaint about this. Keep your failed delivery notice handy because you will need it to complete the form .
If you are not home, a failed delivery notice will be left in your letterbox. It contains all the information about your registered mail that we have received from the sender. You can also find this information via Track & Trace. For registered mail, we generally do not receive digital information from the sender. If there is no sender on Track & Trace or on your failed delivery notice, customer care cannot give you any extra information either.
You can link an additional email address to the My bpost app as follows: Open the My bpost app and select the 'More' menu at the bottom of the screen. Select 'My email addresses' and then 'Add email address'. Enter the email address you wish to add. Enter the verification code that was sent to this email address. Parcels and shipments ordered with this email address will automatically be added to the My bpost app from now on.
