How do I send priority mail?

To send a letter as priority mail, you need a priority stamp. To be sure that your priority delivery arrives the next workday, you must put it in a red mailbox before the last collection or drop it off at a Post Office or Post Point before 16:00. Only a priority stamp guarantees that your letter is delivered the next workday. Writing 'priority' on an envelope with a non-priority stamp does not count.
If the transfer is called off due to an error, you can go back to the Post Office and ask to correct the details of the transaction.
How does the Parcel Box work and where can I find one?

You'll find Parcel Boxes in many Post Offices. It makes handing in your parcel faster and easier. Parcel Boxes are in the Post Office or in an area that is open 24/7. Some Parcel Boxes have a scanner. Your parcel is scanned when you hand it in. If the Parcel Box doesn't have a scanner, you don't have a Shipping Receipt.
Where do I find the barcode of my return shipment?

If the original sender provided a return label, then the barcode of your return shipment is on the return label. You can also find the barcode on the sender's website or in the e-mail that you received from us announcing the delivery of your parcel. If you purchased a shipping label, then the barcode is in the e-mail that you received or on the Shipping Receipt issued by the Post Office or Post Point.

Special stamps can be purchased in: Our eShop A Post Office or Post Point A stamp shop (bookshops, supermarkets, petrol stations, etc.) Note: for non-standardised mail you must attach multiple special stamps until you attain the correct price.
If the addressee is not home, a failed delivery notice is left in the letterbox. The addressee can use this to pick up the item in the Post Office or Post Point mentioned on the failed delivery notice; the item must be collected within 15 calendar days. If the addressee does not pick up your mail within 15 calendar days, it will be sent back to you. Make sure that your name and address are clearly written on the item.
