The bpost video postcard is a real postcard with a unique video message. The postcard includes a self-selected photo (or multiple photos) and a QR code that links to your selected video. Your addressee receives the card in their letterbox, and can view the video by scanning the QR code with their smartphone via: the Mobile Postcard app on their smartphone or tablet an app with a code scanner the camera on a recent smartphone The video can be up to one minute long and remains available for one year. Your video postcard is printed as a postcard and delivered to the letterbox at the address you give us.
The maximum amount depends on your bank's payment limits. If this limit is exceeded, you are notified immediately. In that case, there are two possibilities: You pay cash (the exact amount) to the postman and receive your parcel immediately Your parcel goes to the Post Office or Post Point in your neighbourhood, where you can pay for it the next workday with a debit or credit card.
For problems with the delivery of your card, it's best to contact customer service using the online form at the bottom of this page. For a technical question, you're best calling us by telephone with the following information at hand: The brand of your device: e.g. Samsung, Apple, Huawei, etc. The device type or model: e.g. Galaxy 5, iPhone 11, Huawei P30 Lite, etc. Operating system: e.g. Android 8, iOS 12, etc. The app version. If you are not at home, the postman will deliver the registered mail in accordance with the delivery preferences you have set in the My bpost app. If you have not set any delivery preferences, the postman will leave a failed delivery notice. This notification clearly states: Where you can pick up your mail the dates and times when you can pick up your mail Delivery preferences for registered mail You can set your preferences for how your registered mail is to be delivered in the My bpost app. These are the options: Delivered to your letterbox: we won’t ring your bell, we’ll simply put the mail straight through your letterbox. Proxy: in the app you authorise someone else to take receipt of your registered mail. More details about proxies . Postpone delivery to your home by one working day. Immediate delivery at a Post Office or Post Point. These last two options only become available once a registered mail has been announced. In that case, you’ll get an email or an app notification stating the delivery date and location.
Promotions are announced from time to time via email or push message. Be sure to accept push notifications. You do this in the settings of your smartphone or tablet. Indicate that you “allow messages”. Emails with discounts or useful tips are sent to the email address that you registered with. Make sure that your email preferences are correct under Menu > My account.
We don't print the video on the postcard. Instead, video postcards feature a QR code. The recipient of your postcard scans the QR code on the front with the Mobile Postcard app, an external QR app, or the camera on a recent smartphone. They can then watch and hear your video. The film of your video postcard can last for as long as one minute. It remains available for one year.
To send or return your parcel with the postman, the following conditions apply:  The postman must first deliver a parcel to your home address. You can't just leave it ready at the door or approach the postman in the street. Your parcel cannot weigh more than 30 kg. You are allowed to give the postman maximum 2 parcels per visit. Your parcel must be ready for shipping with a shipping or return label from bpost on it. Keep in mind that the postman can refuse your parcel if it does not meet the conditions or if they cannot transport the parcel safely.

You can choose the photo for your video postcard or you can make one using the app. The addressee will get a photo on the postcard and a video with the QR code.
You can resend a previously sent postcard for two weeks after first sending it. You need to pay to send the repeat card.
