You will receive an invitation to pay import costs if your shipment does not meet all the conditions for a gift. Therefore, you first need to check when a parcel is considered a gift . If you believe that your parcel does meet these conditions, you can apply for an exemption by contesting the import costs. To do so, ask the sender to send you an e-mail confirming: the contents of the shipment the value (in €) of the shipment that your shipment is a gift Afterwards, enter your barcode and postal code via Track & Trace or via the My bpost app. There you will find a link to an online form to dispute your import costs. Upload the sender's email to this form as proof.
Most webshops allow you to have your parcel delivered to a bbox locker. The following webshops already do it: Zalando, Coolblue, Torfs, Lidl, bol, H&M, Zara, Massimo Duti, Farmaline, Smartphoto, A.S. Adventure ... New webshops are added every day. Would you like to order something through a webshop, but the Parcel Locker option is not listed among the delivery methods? You can still have your parcel delivered to a Parcel Locker via MyPreferences or the My bpost app.
You can change your postcard only until you press 'Send'. But the moment you press 'Send', your postcard is gone and you'll no longer be able to change it. You can reuse the same card and send it again, to the same person or someone else. You can do this up to two weeks after you send the postcard the first time. You're able to access a copy of the card and edit it in the app. You'll have to pay for this subsequent sending.
You can follow your parcel online with Track & Trace and the My bpost app. Enter the barcode number that is on the label of your return shipment. Please note: that is a different number than the number on the label of your original parcel. Be sure to enter the correct postcode: If there is a return label in your parcel, then the correct postcode is the postcode on the original shipping label that is attached to the parcel. If you have to create a shipping label, then the correct postcode is the postcode of the receiver of your return shipment.
In the app menu, click on the ‘Log in’ button then on ‘Forgot your password?’ and enter your email address. You will receive an email with a link to set a new password. You'll soon be back up and running.
In the app, you can use a photo filter for photos that are beautiful but of lesser quality. Sepia, black-and-white and warm tints are nice filters. The blur will be less noticeable on your postcard or video card. Simply add the photo then click on it. If possible, use smartphone photos that are at least 1831 x 1276 pixels. If your smartphone is less than four years old, any photos you take with it should be of good enough quality. Tip: don't zoom too much when taking a photo. A zoomed image is not as sharp.
Follow your parcel with Track & Trace. Choose where we can deliver it. And discover where your parcel goes if you are not at home.
You can postpone delivery of your parcel once by one working day. You’ll get an email or a notification in the My bpost app stating the delivery date and location when your parcel is on its way. You’ll then be able to postpone delivery to the next working day.
