No, if you are not home, the postman will leave a failed delivery notice that indicates where and when you (or your proxy) can pick up your registered mail.
Yes, you may. You don't have to be the sender of the parcel. It can be the parcel of your neighbour, a family member or someone else. You can give the parcel to the postman as long as it meets the required conditions .
Once the postman finishes their round, they bring your parcel to the nearest distribution centre. From there, your parcel is sorted and starts its journey to the recipient. You can follow the status of your parcel with Track & Trace and the My bpost app using your barcode.
If you want to make an original postcard with the Mobile Postcard app – of your holiday, for a wedding or birthday – you can pay postcard per postcard or buy several credits in advance. You can send one postcard to a Belgian address with 1 credit. A postcard to an address outside Belgium costs 1.5 credits. To buy credits, log in or create an account. The advantages of credits: You save time because you don't have to pay postcard per postcard. You save money because you get a discount when you buy credits.
Use your existing bpost account or if you don't have one yet, simply create one by completing the following steps: Download the Mobile Postcard app via the App Store or Google Play. Open the app and select ‘Menu’ in the bottom right corner. Select ‘Log in’ and then ‘New account’. Fill in the requested details. Your email address is used as your login account. You'll receive an email to confirm your registration.
Swipe from right to left on the address.
We are sorry that your postman didn't perform his/her job correctly. If this has happened several times, you can report it online or contact us by telephone. We will request your contact details so that we can discuss this with the correct postman. You can report this via the online form .
We apologize that your card has been damaged. You can report this to our customer service, preferably via the online form at the bottom of this page.
No, the app doesn't give a warning. However, you can check what your postcard will look like using the print preview. If you took the photo with a smartphone that is less than four years old, the quality should be fine. If your smartphone is older, make sure that the photos are at least 1831 x 1276 pixels. Tip for better photo quality: when you zoom in, the image is not as sharp. It's better to come a step closer than to zoom in.
The price per postcard drops if you buy at least five credits in advance. Check all our prices under 'Cards and envelopes'.
