You can send money to someone in Belgium. Your addressee can pick up the money in any Ria agency or Post Office.
You can always return your parcel with bpost, even if it was delivered by a different postal service. In that case, you must purchase a shipping label via our website, in our eShop or in a Post Office, Post Point or Parcel Point. You send your return shipment as regular mail. The price depends on the weight, the size and the destination. Use our online shipping tool to calculate the price of your parcel.
The website where I ordered my parcel says 'free returns', but bpost is still charging shipping fees. Why is that?

If the counter clerk at your Post Office or Post Point asks you to pay, then the return shipment is not free. Read the terms and conditions for returning parcels on the website of the online shop. Your return shipment is probably an exception to the free returns policy.

If you send goods, they must always be sent as a parcel. The price to send a parcel abroad depends on the weight, size, destination and the options you choose. With bpost you can send parcels of up to 30 kg to more than 220 countries. Make your shipping label online, via the eShop, or go to a Post Office or Post Point.

How do I send priority mail?

To send a letter as priority mail, you need a priority stamp. To be sure that your priority delivery arrives the next workday, you must put it in a red mailbox before the last collection or drop it off at a Post Office or Post Point before 16:00. Only a priority stamp guarantees that your letter is delivered the next workday. Writing 'priority' on an envelope with a non-priority stamp does not count.
If you are not home, the postman will leave a failed delivery notice. This document clearly indicates where you can pick up your registered mail and the dates and times when. Someone else can take receipt of your registered mail at your home or pick it up at the Post office or Post Point. You do have to give that person a mandate. This is how you do that:

So if you won’t be home, you’ll still have time to set up a proxy. Open the app and tap first ‘More’, then ‘delivery preferences’. Tap ‘registered mail’ and choose your preferred mandate: ‘last minute’ or ‘classic’. Identify yourself (with itsme or with your ID card) and follow the steps. You will receive a QR code, which you can pass on to the person of your choosing. This person simply shows this QR code during delivery. If you set up a classical mandate, they will also have to present their ID card.
