You can change your postcard only until you press 'Send'. But the moment you press 'Send', your postcard is gone and you'll no longer be able to change it. You're able to access a copy of the card and edit it in the app. You'll have to pay for this subsequent sending.
No, the app doesn't give a warning. However, you can check what your postcard will look like using the print preview. If you took the photo with a smartphone that is less than four years old, the quality should be fine. If your smartphone is older, make sure that the photos are at least 1831 x 1276 pixels.
